About Mobile House Calls
The LFM Mobile House Calls team is made of highly trained and qualified medical professionals that provide primary care services in private homes, assisted living facilities, and nursing homes. We are committed to providing you or your loved one with quality and affordable care that is tailored to your needs. Our program offers you the unique experience of having a trained professional work around you, instead of you working to meet his or her schedule. Our staff consists of Medical Doctors, Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants.

Patient Care
The most common question we receive is “How much is this going to cost?” For many patients, house calls will not cost any more than the traditional co-pay. Many insurance companies, including Medicare will pay for the doctor to come and see you.
The cost of getting a house call is probably a lot less then you think. Here are some guidelines based on various insurance plans:
- Medicare: House calls are covered in the same manner as a visit to your office-based doctor. If you normally pay $0 out of pocket to see your office-based doctor, you will pay $0 out of pocket for a house call. Also, just like when you visit your office-based doctor, your annual deductible must be met before your Medicare insurance covers the expense.
- For most people who have Medicare and a Medigap supplement plan, the out-of-pocket cost for the patient is $0 after any deductible is met.
Nursing Home Placement
